Anna McKenzie

Anna is an artist and needlepoint designer based in Raleigh, NC. As the artist behind Anna McKenzie Studio, her work spans both the textured world of needlepoint and the expressive beauty of fine art. From a love for painting and creating since childhood, Anna brings a thoughtful, intentional approach to every piece she creates, whether through custom needlepoint canvases, ghost designing for fellow creatives, or painting that celebrates color, texture, and movement.

Becoming a mom pushed me into exploring my creative side more and it was needlepoint that gave me the courage to pursue it as a career. Each piece I create, is rooted in joy, beauty, and the peace that only comes from Christ. Art, for me, has always been about more than what's on the canvas. It's about slowing down, noticing beauty and processing what God is teaching me through color and movement. Whether I'm sketching florals, mixing paints, or painting customs during nap time, my hope is that my work reflects something deeper - a reminder of the freedom and joy that can be found in both creativity and faith.
